In 2019 we started prospecting the lower beds under the Hartham Park Ground Stone seam. Until recently these beds were too difficult to remove with the older, traditional extraction methods. However, with new technology and machinery these harder beds can be quarried. Hartham Park T2 Basebed is beautiful Bath stone with delicate grey hues exhibiting stunning fossilised shells.

Hartham Park T2 Basebed was launched to the market in 2021 and quickly became a favourite with many established masonry firms. It is a hard, durable bath stone with excellent weathering properties for all masonry applications including restoration projects and exposed weathering courses.

A full suite of test data is available; the results show the most frost resistant Bath Stone on the market tested to 56 freeze-thaw cycles in accordance with BS EN 12371:2010. We have a good range of block sizes available in stock, please contact us for more information on 01929 439255
